ortiz wants to be treated like the champion he is....ortiz wants to be treated like the champion he is?

Man, Tito definitely needs to man up and lose that big ego of his, though I don't think that'll ever happen. The only reason he is where he is today is because of Dana White and the UFC.

I watched "Bad Blood: Dana White vs. Tito Ortiz" and, though it's probably biased because it was made with Spike by Zuffa, it sounded like the reason he left the UFC the first time was because his big ego got too overinflated. After that he was on a path of self-destruction until his wife came begging to Dana to take him back and he wrapped his car around a tree while DUI and had some sort of epiphany (we heard this from Tito in confessional). Here we are again.

It seems pretty obvious to me that TUF 3 and this whole rivalry with Ken Shamrock are what revived his MMA career and introduced him to the newer, bandwagon MMA fans. What does White need to apologize to him for, he MADE him, he was his manager for years, he's the reason Tito is so successful nowadays. You don't hear any complaints coming from Chuck Liddell, even though he isn't champion any more--I'm sure he's got nothing but gratitude towards Dana White.

It ALWAYS came down to the money with Tito, but he's never understood how to play the game--it was funny watching him wilt under pressure in 'The Apprentice' board room, that blank look on his meat-head face while his pea brain was scrambling to come up with ideas... He needs to grow up but I doubt that will ever happen being a celebrity living in LV with his porn star girlfriend...

I think the main thing to remember is that Tito wants to be famous........MMA is his current platform for fame but he doesn't lust for the championship like the great ones do. I pretty much agree with the rest of what you said Sanity...

Wasn't one of his demands last time they were signing him was to fight Dana white in a boxing match? They had the whole special on Spike of Dana training and than Tito never showed up for the weigh in. I bet he would make Dana apologize (even though Dana never will) and than he wouldn't come back anyways.

what does dana have to be sorry for?

dana "i'm sorry tito, for making you an assload of cash, putting you on a very popular reality tv show, giving you ken shamrock to beat up on...."

Well they've both been real immature lately with the name calling and such so I'm sure they both can apologize for some small stuff. Big picture? I'm not sure Dana White or the UFC would be where they are right now without Tito Ortiz and vice versa. This is fine to keep up if it's simply for ratings but requiring an apology and if he goes and fights else where would be a joke. LHW is one of the few divisions which the UFC has a strangle hold on the talent. Without doing much research little nog is the only guy I can think of who is quality.

Seriously, this is all just a way to create a headline. I think they should go on Dr. Phil and try to reconcile thier differences. Maybe we could see Dana shed a few tears and see Tito hold him and tell him that he's sorry for not calling.

Chuck is right. Tito wants fame more than anything else. He has gone as far as he can in MMA and the UFC. Time to do something else to get his name in lights. He might do a couple of more fights somewhere, but in the long run he is going to try to remake himself on TV or movies. With all the reality shows out there I can see a guy that was a top fighter, has a pornstar GF, has an attitude and a checkered past be given a shot to become famous....and make the network some money.

Tito is da man, u guyz are just haters, hes gunna drop kick macheeta in da head and then fight fedor and kimbo in his own pro motion.

I love typing like those retards you see online sometimes. Leave Tito alone he can be an ass sometimes but he has also made The UFC a boatload of $$$$$ as well. He's a showman and yes he does have a huge ego, but he's accomplished a lot in the cage & out, bagging that whore takes the cake.

I'll fight Alexander, I'll lay on my back and wait for him to get on top of me and choke him out.

It is too bad about Tito though. He was really good and still should be but he has let his inflated Ego, his pron star and other distractions get in the way. That and the fact that he isn't even fighting the top fighters anymore. After Liddel he should have been fighting the likes of Rampage, Silva and Rua instead of beating on the old guy twice and fighting Rashad Evans...then asking for a re-match against Evans? What is up with that? Tito isn't motivated to fight the big boys anymore.
