I have not read into as much of Belinda's story as Sammy, but I think she is just the promoter I'm not sure if she is a fighter or not? I will Sammy to get on that when she gets home.

what are some of the challenges and obstacles do you face trying to put do woman version of the UFC? do you get interest from female fighters?

Thanks guys, I already asked her some fairly good questions, but I know that the fightticker nation will pump out some hard core questions of their own.
I'm not sure why Joe backed out of the interview? But it was his choice! But Belinda has already answered some for me, so I'm sure nothing will change.

What are the reactions of people who find out you are starting a female mma league? There are two issues -- one is the stigma associated with MMA and the other is the stigma of being a female fighter.
Do you find people who don't believe women should fight? If so, what do you say to them?
Ask her to define MMA=tell you where it started. Was it in 1993? Was it with Bruce Lee? Wasn't Chuck Norris doing the same thing at the same time as Bruce Lee? How about Pankration.

Given Carina Damm's positive test for steroids, do you think steroids are a big problem in woman's MMA?
Is MMA sanctioned in New Zealand? If not, are you as the promoter responsible for finding refs, assigning judges, doing testing, etc?
Do you provide medical insurance, pension plans, or other benefits to your fighters?
What sort of drug testing is there in New Zealand for female MMA fighters?
I am going to ask her to join and I will post these questions to the Q&A that I am getting ready to post. She has to find 5 replacements so she had her work cut out for her. The 31st is coming up fast.
