Moving to a more stable server
In the next day or two, the company that hosts this site will be moving it to a more stable server.
I haven't really been pleased with the server this site is on since day one and it's only gotten worse this week.
So, I'm happy about this move. I'm being told there will be no down time for the site. From your perspective, nothing should change except hopefully the site won't be as unstable as it's been in the past.
Thanks for your patience. I'm hoping smooth sailing is in our near future!

I'm really crossing my fingers with this move. If the site goes down for an extended period of time, you'll know what happened. But, don't worry, I'll get it back up even if I have to switch to a new server hosting company...Growing pains...sigh...
The move to a new server is now completed. I'm hoping this means the issues that we've seen with the site in the first three or so months are now behind us. The new server is more stable, I'm being told.
So far so food. The site seems to be loading much faster than before. Cross your fingers!

It very well could have been Phoenix. they were demanding one million dollars or else the crappy service continues...
Phoenix was probably holding the server down because he was also accessing gay porn through the same server.

Cross your fingers but it's been one full week on the new server and I think the new server is as good as promised. It seems more stable and much faster than the other server.
i haven't had one problemo getting on fightticker...this past week you can say i've been getting off on fightticker...
