Can't we all just get along?
OfflineJust for a point of clarification, there is only person running this site. That person is Fight Ticker (formerly admin) = Pramit. I only mention this so that you don't think you're speaking to multiple people or that multiple people are making decisions.
As for this war between MMAfia and Cincy, I would really like to see a truce between both sides. I understand there is a lot of baggage from CBS's MMA forum but I see this as an opportunity for a fresh start for everyone. I'm monitoring the situation because I want other users to feel welcome on this site and generally speaking, wars of this kind scare away the good folks.
I want this site to be a place where everyone can co-exist and interact and discuss MMA in a meaningful way. I also want this to be fun. It doesn't always have to be serious. However, I would like to warn everyone that no more name-calling will be allowed. No more personal attacks by either side will be allowed. First, I will delete the offensive post. Second time, I will personally send a pm warning the offending poster. Third time, you will be banned.
I'm being very lenient because I think we can all co-exist. I'm hoping there will be a group here for everyone. If you don't like someone, ignore them. So, even though I am being lenient, I'm doing so because if you are banned from this site, you'll know you are the one to blame.
Everyone on this site has been forewarned. (I'll place this in the FAQ section as well.) Let's enjoy this great environment for MMA and not get caught up with the war of words. We have a great event tonight. I hope to see this forum lit up with activity before, during, and after UFC 82.

Pramit, thank you for taking the time out to try & rectify this situation. As long as Cincy can come on here and post without attacking us then we will certainly do the same. We are mature enough to ignore him if need be, but like you said new users will not want to see or deal with a soap opera between your existing members. I for one will either ignore him or if he chooses to I will discuss MMA with him in a mature manner.

Hey, I have less love for the CBS admins than almost anyone. Before I came across you guys I would say I was banned almost 10 times. I sent them e-mails telling them to lick my balls and stuff. They are Nazis over there. And most of their decisions were completely arbitrary.
It's funny because when you have a serious question they ignore you, but God forbid you cross them they will answer you in a heartbeat. Tim Sylvia should stay away from Taco Bell if you ask me!!! Maybe he's in there with admin 4. I just watched the UFC 82 preview on Spike, they showed Silva in Brazil, I can not believe how beautiful it is there, the water is so clean.

you too, and what I said about your job is bullsh%t. I basically do wills and trusts for a living and I hate it.

but I'm not miserable...I just don't particularly like my job.
I know, I didn't take it personal, it's actually interesting, I get to go in the nastiest of neighborhoods and the pay is awesome. I learned a lot since I started this job. I never knew there was different types of electricity and I never knew that a washing machine can spin up to 300 g's when it is in extract. I know it sounds boring, but I have gotten a lot of knowledge since I took this job.
You need to be happy at your job, I know you have to pay your bills and everything, but if you are unhappy with your job it affects every other aspect of your life. I have used the MMA boards to escape from reality and the annoying parts of my day.
