i think wanderlei is the best shot at getting a really exciting fight from machida ... you need someone that will press him and won't stop coming, and i think wandy is the only one animal enough to do it

the worst machida fight would be liddell. that fight would be so boring as they would just circle each other and try to counterpunch each other. it would be three rounds of absolutely no action.
wandy is the only guy i can think of with enough "go broke or go home" in him to keep coming like a dumb animal. i love that he brings it, and maybe its to his detriment sometimes, but i think he is the only guy that would fearlessly come at machida. hell he came at chuck and that didn't work out well for him but he kept coming... if nothing else, it will force machida to keep fighting back and maybe go for a finish instead of tactical scoring
i think forrest might be able to beat machida as long as it was more than a 3 round fight.
I'd love to see Wandy knock Machida's head off and then rape choke him like he did to The Dean of Queen.

Machida doesn't have the power Liddell possesses. Wandy comes swinging in, I don't think Machida will be able to counter with enough power to slow Wandy down. Very interesting match. I also agree that forests hands could be a problem for Machida.
Machida Vs Liddell...... snore fest.
It's going to take someone who has a good chin, good stamina and a tenacious style to beat him and Forrest is that man, that will be his first title defense.

So you think he can take Rampage? Forest is def the underdog, so thats where the smart money is going. Other than that I have no idea..
He gets better each and every fight, no one trains as hard as he does so yes i think he can win. He wouldn't be where he is if he couldn't fight. Rampage is as tough as they come but he's beatable.
