This is so true!!! White people are horrified of Baltimore because they think The Wire is real. And I get a lot of Wire questions myself when I tell people I live in Baltimore. OMG. You know what's funny? I've seen like two episodes of that show. Everyone tells me how great it is, but in my heart I can't watch a show that portrays the worst parts of the city I love...I'm sure it brings up a lot of great issues, but Baltimore is so much more and has such a tremendous history...It was New York City before New York City became New York City...

I`ve watched the show from day 1 and became a big fan.. It`s very deep but I understand where your coming from Fight Ticker I`m from NYC and I`m tired of seeing my city get attacked by aliens and monsters on screen( I know it`s only science fiction) but when is enuff enuff already! And now the gov got busted getting busy with hookers!..dawn!
