i don't like denny burkholder. that is the worst MMA section ever. denny NEVER posts on the boards.

it's just that some of the guys can't access any other site but CBSsports.com from work, and they are stuck on that site. we all have a vendatta against the CBS admins. i don't know what denny burkholder is doing but writing an article here and there but we kept that board alive by posting mma news all the time. sooo many people got on that site and read everything we posted and actually thanked us for doing so. cbs didn't care. denny never paid attention to the boards. all we get for bringing them members is a big f**k you and we get banned. i really enjoyed the time that i had on there. this group on fightticker.com is the same guys from CBS. we are not wanted by them for some reason. they banned me, king, cincy, hardy for practically no reason.

denny can have his quiet board just like madness has theirs.

i will only post on The Oath thread over there with king. king is one of those who are stuck.

You (and all the other great members of this site) are very appreciated here. The discussion on here is superb and you are all very knowledgeable about the sport.

That's why I'm trying to give back to the members with giveaway contests (that will be increasingly better in terms of prizes!!) and getting you some top notch and unique original content.

On the other hand, if this site develops a bad rep., I think we all suffer and it makes this less fun.

As you can probably tell, I'm very laid back. But, I also try to be respectful even as I'm having fun. You've all been great here and I love interacting with all of you. This is the reason I built this site -- so we could all have fun together.

Whatever your issues with CBS (and I respect the fact that you have them), just think about your good name, the good name of this site, and the good name of MMA fans in general before you post something on that site or elsewhere.

i dont want to give this site a bad rep. theres a guy on cbs who is in iraq or afganistan doing security as a civilian there who would be more than happy to be able to come on fightticker. a lot of them on cbs has said they wish they can get fightticker from work, but they can't.

Pramit, for CBS to contact you is so ridiculous, big bad CBS has to come crying. They brought this all on their own, I have actually started to change my tune somewhat and post insightful and educated messages. I'm sorry for bringing any heat on to you or this site, but I am not sorry for giving them hell these past few months. I have tried to recruit other CBS posters by telling them that the serious mma fan needs to be over here. I have sent messages on myspace and sent emails to people I thought would be interested in coming to a great site with great people.

I have invested a lot of time and energy into this site, although I haven't been on as much these past few weeks due to a crazy work schedule, anytime I spend on the net it's on here. That is what I am so infuriated, who does CBS think they are coming to you and jeopardizing what we have going on here? That is childish, desperate and they should be embarrassed that a couple on guys were able to make such a commotion on their big bad website, I am still in shock as I type this.

Anyway, I apologize Pramit if we brought any negative attention to this site, that was never my attention, you have given me a great opportunity and you will never know how much I truly appreciate it. You have my word that I will not associate this website on that pitiful excuse for a website anymore. They truly don't deserve the attention.

Seriously, I still think it sucks. It is the only site I can get on from work b/c AT & T has sponsorship deals with them and it used to be the highlight of my day. Now I cant even bring myself to go on the site but maybe once every couple of weeks. It sucks bc "The Oath" board always made for a better day in the hellmouth.

Just so you know Pramit, I honestly wanted to bury the hatchet. I liked to follow Big Mac's link's to MMAMadness because I think he is a hella writer plus I love messing with him over his love for average fighters such as Serra and Kimbo. But when they scratched my last two (non abusive) posts from their site, well that did me in. So gvuilthvjkvbhio;uushsrtgvboi;/iiiij' those were some harsh words there let me tell you.

100% agree phoenix. It's a dumb policy. For a site, especially Madness, to act like there are no other sites out there is lame. They underestimate MMA fans... Most fans visit a number of sites even if they call one home...And, it is purely motivated by fear as you say...

CBS does that too. when ajmarti82 was posting all the MMA news on the mma board over there, he mention that he got sent messages by CBS telling him to stop.

competition is good. it's what makes this site so great. we know there are other sites to post on, but we choose this one over all the others. this goes for anything else in life, there are a ton of businesses selling the same products, schools teaching the same things...

I just like simple things....I hate changes and I hate to be lied to. When I started on Cbs there was really no one on the MMA board other than cornbrdhick(spelling?) untill AJ came on board. then they screwed us over ugh! So i found a new home AJ sent a few private messages and was like are you sure about this....and I was like all I know is CBS isn't cutting it so I gotta find somewhere else. Well I really developed a relationship with Pramit more than Madness so when he packed his bags and moved on, so did I, and here I am. He has not done me wrong and I think this website is great!

I appreciate that Papa and everyone else here. Just so you're clear, I have no problem if you go on other boards. I also don't have any control over what you post elsewhere. That's between you and the other sites.

However, it became a concern to me because this site was becoming associated with those posts. If you hadn't put fightticker.com at the bottom of those posts, it probably would have never come to my attention.

That's really the only thing that bothered me.
