Best movie you've seen in 2008?
I've watched a number of movies in the last two weeks -- Cloverfield, Juno, The Kite Runner, The Invasion, We Own the Night, and currently working on There Will Be Blood.
I tend to fall behind on movies and then go on a binge. I'm in the middle of such a binge right now.
Any movies out there that you've seen recently that you highly recommend, DVD or in the theater?

I looove the new Batman movies. I'll replay the first one every couple of months. Love the way they framed the story.
The next one is going to have that added dimension of Heath Ledger (Joker) being dead...
have you seen the preview? my friend was the first to post it on youtube. he got it from a guy who got it from a guy...

Pramit, I saw 21 and thought it was a solid movie. Than again I'm very much so into gambling/blackjack so it was right up my alley. I saw it with a friend of mine who isn't and he said it was good too.

Hmm...I'll probably have to go solo on that one. I'm almost certain my wife won't dig it. No worries. I've done the solo thing before...
BTW, isn't there another recent movie (now on DVD) that dealt with something similar?
Rounders was great too...old-school...
Not sure what you were thinking of. There was a rounders knock off called Shade that I saw on DVD like 3 years ago which was terrible. Rounders one of my favorites.
