haha if you go to his site...there are like 6 or 7 pics of him...he is smiling in every one of them....when you think of it, he kinda looks like william dafoe...anyone agree?

To his credit tho, he does have great insight into the sport of MMA...

an annoyingly looking willam dafoe. him and rennallo on elitexc bob their heads way to much. and when quadros is waiting to talk, he's smiling, doing something with his lips.

i was looking forward to seeing spencer fight again. he sounded really bummed out.

Man, it sounds like amateur hour with Couture's legal approach against Zuffa...

Yeah it kinda sucks for him...he was actually going to take a cortisone and fight with his messed up shoulder...but during one of his practices he got put into a submission and one of his arms went totally numb...kinda sucks because he got tix for a bunch of family and friends....hopefully its not to serious and he is able to return in the near future.....

And one of the big things brought up by Farra on the show is that Randy knew that if we put his name in a different league like he did with the IFL that that would be considered a breach of contract....so we can't all think that this is just Dana White...I think a lot of the problems between white and couture were started by couture.

you know, if randy just fought his last 2 fights, (which would be over by now) he can be training to face fedor in elitexc or something right now. he could have faced nogeira, win, then face whoever. he probably would be retired by now again after beating fedor. (or not)

Randy is a joke...he can't make his mind up...One day he says he would come back to the UFC if things would work out...and then in the next breath he swears that he is done with the UFC...can anyone say bi-polar?

haha. maybe randy didn't think this would drag out this long. idk. he DID just sign a four fight contract. (i think it was four) nowhere in the contract did it say he was going to fight fedor.

Did anyone hear the Marc Ratner interview? Does that man not get enought credit or what!? He is the reason why this sport has become so large in the states...I feel as if he is under-appreciated. Anyone disagree?

Wow great to see so much feedback on the show. I kinda feel that people are unfairly treating Randy tho. It may be impatience, I dunno. The man clearly has a limited time left in his career, and only wants to fight who he can. With the UFC being the way they have been, why would he want to help them make money again? Still, its pretty sad when one of the most popular fighters who had a decade long relationship with the top company can no longer who with eachother. Treating Randy unfair? He said he wouldnt go the the hearing unless "choking" was legal...The guy has done NOTHING to resolve this situation...Why would he just finish his two fights on his contract and then just leave!

Sorry for my grammatical error on that phoenix, I meant they can no longer work with eachother. It just seems that people were behind Randy at the start of this, but the longer its gone more people have been upset. Its true that he hasn't done much to resolve it, but either has the other side. Randy wouldn't be the first guy in the UFC to not fulfill his contract, Zuffa has released plenty of guys that have had numerous fights left. Its a shitty situation any way you look at it, I guess its just my personal bias to Randy to support him. He is genuinely one of the nicest fighters that I've ever met.

Here's my main problem with Couture. He called out the UFC without having his facts straight. The UFC called a press conference and proved with documents that Couture wasn't telling the truth. In addition, Couture's reasons for wanting to leave have changed a lot (more than Mitt Romney's policy positions...)

Randy is a man of principle. It's about the money because a lot of things are about the cash. But for Randy its also about respect and he wasn't given his due. He helped make the UFC what it is and he feels that he should get more money because of what he's done. When guys from other places are coming in and making more than he is its an insult. Plus his contract is so strict that he isn't even able to corner his own fighters in the IFL. Perhaps Couture's stand could mean more to fighters in the future when it comes to the details of contracts. Look at it like a hold out. NFL guys do it all the time. He's trying to force change and if other athletes do it all the time why should he be different?

it's a bad breakup...like i said before, randy could have fought his last 2 fights already and be done with the UFC. i'm still confused as to what his real reasons are leaving. (or trying to)

Everyone is making good points on the issue, except for Cmag08. Romney's a critter. Randy could've had those last two fights, probably against Nog and then possibly Arlovski or a rematch or Sylvia, but I doubt we'll ever see it now, its a shame. I loved the fact the MMA never really had the problems that boxing had with promoters, but now it appears its happening now.

I'm a little ashamed to admit it... but I actually like Rogan as a color commentator and interviewer.

Maybe EliteXC can get a good stand up comic to do thier interviews too... perhaps they can get Carlos Mencia!! Now that would be a good storyline... the first UFC v. EliteXC match could be between the color guys...
